What to look for
- Verified / trust badges when shown (identity + background where required)
- Recent reviews with photos — especially verified jobs
- Clear service area that includes your address
- Responsive messaging if you have worked together before
- Insurance / license signals for commercial or trade-gated jobs
Some open job posts and PM workflows can require insured or licensed pros before claims are accepted.
Comparing options
Send the same clear request (photos + access notes + timing) to a few pros, then compare quotes side by side. Prefer structured quotes with line items over one-line totals.
