Set up your business
Get your business ready so clients can find you, send requests, and pay you after the job.
Before you start
Sign up as a professional, verify email and phone, then finish onboarding. Until your application is approved, some marketplace features stay limited — you can still polish your profile.
Checklist
- Business profile — Open Business Profile. Add your business name, short bio, phone, logo, and cover photo. Write for homeowners: what you do, where you work, and what makes you reliable.
- Services & pricing — Open Services & Pricing. List the categories you actually offer. Optional starting prices help clients self-qualify; you can still send custom quotes.
- Hours — Set Business Hours so clients know when you answer and when you can be on site.
- Service area — Define your Service Area (cities and radius). Keep it honest — mismatched areas create bad leads.
- Payments — Connect payouts under Payments / Payouts so money can land after invoices are paid.
Public presence
- Clients see your public profile from search, hubs, and embeds. Keep contact info and categories current.
- Add portfolio and gallery photos as you complete jobs — before/after sets convert better than logos alone.
- If you are on a Business plan, configure your branded Site and website embeds from Developer & Integrations.
Tips that save time later
- Use one clear phone number and email you check daily.
- Match service categories to the work you want — the job feed and search use them.
- Turn on notifications so new leads and messages do not sit overnight.
