Leads & quotes

Turn inbound interest into booked work with a clear trail from request → quote → acceptance.

Where leads come from

  • Client requests and job posts in Open job requests
  • Direct messages and quote requests from your public profile
  • Lead / quote embeds on your own website (Business) — see widgets docs
  • Leads surfaced on the Pro Console

Responding well

  1. Reply quickly — the first clear, professional response often wins.
  2. Ask for photos or access notes if the scope is unclear (attic access, breaker panel, HOA rules, etc.).
  3. Send a structured quote from Quotes with line items, timeline, exclusions, and deposit if needed.
  4. Keep negotiation in Messages so change orders stay on the record.

Open job requests

Browse Open job requests, save jobs you care about, and submit quotes when the fit is right. Keep your categories and service area accurate so the feed stays relevant. Some posts require verified pillars (insured, licensed, background) before you can claim them.

Quote hygiene

  • Price the scope you can stand behind — vague “ballpark only” quotes lose trust.
  • Call out what is not included (permits, haul-away, materials).
  • Set an expiry when prices or schedule windows are time-sensitive.
  • When the client accepts, the work moves into Jobs & payments.

Speed assists

From a site visit, Pro Agent can prepare a preliminary quote from the photos. Confirm opens QuoteBuilder. You still set prices and send. The agent does not send.
